ILLUSTRATIONS & NARRATIVES

Many of my paintings beg for stories to accompany them, and some paintings - I call them narratives - are starting points for stories.

In the 1980's and 1990's I illustrated several picture books for children.

I wrote and illustrated The Girl Who Changed her Fate, published by Atheneum in 1992.

I made illustrations for the following books:

  • Fire and Stone, written by Ursula K. Le Guin, published by Atheneum in 1989.

  • Wizard of Wind and Rock, written by Pamela Service, published by Atheneum in 1990.

  • Lissa and the Moon's Sheep, written by Eli Goldblatt, published by Harbinger House in 1990.
