This series is a contemplation of the nature of initiatory thresholds in our lives. Vivid, transformative passages occur in our lives, whether or not contemporary culture provides meaningful forms for them. We rarely pass through these watersheds alone: helpers appear, invited or not, sometimes visibly and sometimes not, to help us with the crossing.
