PHOTOGRAPHS
I find taking photographs to be a very direct way of opening my eyes to what is around me, a way of responding moment by unfolding moment to the impermanent, flickering, display of phenomena. It has been an important part of my metier from very early on, as a kind of eye training in seeing the play of light and dark, and discerning elements of composition as they present themselves, as I find them, ever shifting, in the display of the world.
